Open Targets

Drug target discovery and prioritisation platform

Play video

The Open Targets Platform connector provides a purpose-built interface to access and interpret data for systematic identification and prioritisation of potential therapeutic drug targets. It integrates publicly available datasets to build and score target-disease associations, along with relevant annotation information about targets, diseases/phenotypes, drugs, variants, GWAS and molecular QTL studies, and credible sets.

You can use the Open Targets Platform connector to:

Discover Drug Targets for a Disease: "What are the top five targets associated with Alzheimer's disease?"

Explore GWAS Colocalization: "I have a GWAS lead variant 16_50712015_C_T associated with Crohn's disease, does it colocalise with any other traits?"

Assess Target Safety Profiles: "Are there known safety events associated with targeting PTGS2?"

Research Target-Disease Associations: "What evidence supports the association between BRCA2 and breast cancer?
